To provide the finest experiences and services, our Professional Services teams collaborate with clients and partners. They oversee the quality of work, manage the administration of every aspect of our customer satisfaction and impartiality.

Department of Curriculum and Quality Enhancement (DCQE)

DCQE is responsible for enhancing our client’s experience. The department oversees the total quality management; manages the organizational support we offer our clients and the professional development of our professionals; and co-ordinates our participation in internal and external customer satisfaction surveys.

Corporate Governance

Our Corporate Governance team is responsible for many of the administrative duties outside of our organizational standard and responsibilities. This includes assessing and refining our quality and standards, as well as ensuring the long-term sustainability of our operations, data security, and records management. The team also handles requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act and how we're tackling the gender pay gap.

Equality and Diversity

The Equality and Diversity team is dedicated to fostering a dignified and respectful working, learning, cultural, and social environment. This team is based in Human Resources. This involves monitoring our policies on equality, diversity, and access policies, as well as giving assistance and guidance to students on issues such as gender identity and expression, parenting, and religious practice. The team also helps host our annual Global Week, and supports on campus activities such as Pride.

Finance

Our Finance Department delivers financial services, professional management and financial advice and provides key support in helping the organization achieve its ambitions. The department offers financial advice to the rest of the department and ensures that the organization's financial standards, ethics, and controls are followed

Health and Safety

Our Health and Safety Office advises and aids our top leadership in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of our employees, contractors, and the general public. The team helps our governors and the board member to anticipate, recognize and manage health and safety risks, assess exposure to hazards and develop smart, sustainable strategies that keep everyone safe and healthy. Our Occupational Health Service provides advice to managers and individuals on work-related health problems, and assists with making any adjustments that might support our employees.

Human Resources (HR)

Our Human Resources department takes care of employees and maximizes the efficiency of the organization. From financial and legal matters to staffing needs, pay, benefits and development, the HR department makes sure that the right people are in the right places with their needs met.

Information Services (IS)

Our Information Services (IS) section offers all of our employees with IT infrastructure and support. The IS team provides new employees with the necessary equipment, provides continuing technical assistance to employees, and provides security advice via their online blog.

Planning

Our Planning team is accountable for devising the organization's strategy and delivery plans and reports to the Vice-Chancellor.The team can provide guidance on related issues including strategic and financial planning, performance monitoring, and our Access and Participation Plan. The Planning team also leads on some policy work for the organization, guiding how we can influence and respond to new policy developments.

Marketing, Communications and Advancement

The Marketing and Communications Department provides a comprehensive in-house promotion service. The work of the department includes internal and external communications, press and public relations, and market research.

Research and Innovation Services (RIS)

Our Planning team reports to the Vice-Chancellor and leads the development of organization Strategy and delivery plans. The team can provide guidance on related issues including strategic and financial planning, performance monitoring, and our Access and Participation Plan.
